How to Handle Price Shoppers

  1. Julia says:

Great post. We face this every day and it is very frustrating but these are some great suggestions.
Something we have implemented is not providing a quote unless the client agrees to meet with us in person. There are just simply too many variables that are hard to include in a quote without having talked to them about what they have in mind.

Thank you for sharing these tips! This has always been frustrating to me and I’ve struggled with how to best respond. Glad to know I’m not alone!

Great advice. I have my starting prices listed on my site, but still get ones asking about the price first. I tell them I need to meet with them first to go over their vision and plans before giving a price. I have only had a couple say no to a meeting.

Debbie thank you so much! This was perfect timing!!!

Amber thanks for sharing, every planner needs to learn that when the bride ask for price is a conversation starter because they don’t know how else to begin the conversation, what you put down here is great advice!

    Thanks for sharing!
